Over the years the programs hasn't supporedt dual monitors and with the new code for NextGen versions, the liveview window opens within the hub not allowing you to even move the liveview outside of the main window.

Do the new versions allow the use of dual monitors?

Hi there,

In order to use double monitors, the only option is upgrading your program.
As you are a Punch user, check the prices to upgrade to Version 19, so you can save some money.

Hi there,

Open the page of the desired program at http://www.punchsoftware...m/c-35-all-products.aspx
For all the products there is an option => "Display Upgrade options" (outlined in red in the image attached) => choose the option according with your current version.
Hope this helps.

Just noticed that minimums for V19 include Win10 etc. I'm stuck with XP for now. I think I remember seeing a note that V17 supports dual monitors. Is there a way to upgrade to that version?

Hi there,

Then you will need Punch 17.7, that runs with Win XP and accepts 2 monitors.
As I don't work with sales, I'd suggest that you contact directly with the sales department and ask them about Punch V17.7
http://support.encore.com/ordersupport/
or you can call to 1-800-395-0277

Subsequently purchased Win10 machine and V19 of Punch Home and Landscape. Up and running but I can't find switch to use two monitors. Both monitors are working in other programs so believe this must be a switch inside Home and Landscape. Can you help?

Hi there,

Use quarter view screen => drag the 3D image to the second monitor.

Hi there,

You're welcome! :-)
Glad to know that you can see 3D in your second monitor.
The second monitor capabilities are limited to the visualization in 2 monitors of the elements that you can see side to side in one monitor. For example, the floor plan and the 3D view are side to side using one monitor, so you can move one of the sides to the second monitor. However, in Punch you can't visualize the different levels side to side using one monitor, therefore you can't move the floor plans of the different levels to different monitors.
