Hi there,

The settings look odd, but I can't provide a conclusive opinion because I don't know the project.

A fast solution to fix the roof issue => select the entire roof => adjust the elevation manually using the elevation bar.

Thanks, Patricia,
Looking at the default elevation in the elevation bar I see that the software was using the lowest height of the gabled wall as a base. My roof, however, has a 2'-8" deep soffit which actually puts the lowest point of the roof edge about 9" below the wall. That is why the roof was "floating."
