Hi there,

When you opened your Punch program, Punch opened a file called "Untitled 1", then you opened your file called (for example) "myhouse.PRO". You worked with your file => you saved your file and when you you tried to close the program, Punch asked "Save changes before closing?". Punch was asking about "Untitled 1" (empty), so if you answered "Yes" and then "Save as" => "myhouse.PRO", then you saved an empty file.
This is the reason why you see a blank screen.

Hello Patricia,
Thank you for that. I see what you mean.
When I open the program and select Fie, Open recent, it says the following:
C:\Users\valmac48\OneDrive\DocumentsDesign1PRO.
I am going to try once more. When I do some drawing and want to save it, what do I actually have to do please. If I can't get this right I will uninstal it. I have had this program for about 12 years now and I am using Windows 10 Home.
I appreciate your help.
Valma

Hello Valma,

Probably, you have several problems here:
1 - the usual procedure is => open your project => close any "untitled" file => work in your project => save or save as.
2 - Make sure that your *.PRO file is saved in a drive where you have full rights for read and write.
3 - Keep in mind that your program is rather old. My AS 4000 never worked with Win 7, so I don't think that it will work with Win 10.
I'd suggest to upgrade your program

I don't see any untitled files. I only see Design1.PRO and Design1.Pro2.PRO and Design2.PRO. So where do I go from here. I can open Punch and do a footing, walls and fixtures etc, but cannot save it.
I don't want to buy another program. I would only be using it for this one house then not at all.

Hi there,

Probably the issue is a computer setting, but as you probably know, this Forum is user to user, therefore I can't check the settings of your computer, hardware, etc.
