Hi there,

Open your plan--> Be sure that all the tabs are present --> If you are working in the floor tab (or electrical, etc), you will see a small black arrow at the right of the name (in some versions, just click the name of the tab). By clicking the small arrow or the nameyou have the option of viewing or hiding other tabs. Just check all the names of the tabs

I have 2 tutorials in my website

Alright, today for some reason, it is all showing up, but when I print to scale, it is tiled on to 4 pages. How do I get it to print to scale on 1 page?

THANKS!

Hi there,

When you draw or print to scale there is a relation between the drawing and the paper. For example, if you draw or print a plan to scale 1/4"= 1'--> this means that each 0.25" measured in the paper, is representing 1'. So, in order to create your drawing, your printer will calculate the space and set the number of pages
In other words
- If you print to fit page --> the drawing fits the paper
- If you print to scale --> the paper fits the drawing

Now if you have empty pages --> probably, you have a lost element in a far corner or perhaps a point far from the plan. If so, you have some elements changing the ratio paper / drawing
You can try to find the lost element or you can try this.

- Open a new and empty file in Punch
- Open your plan--> Be sure that all the layers are present (If you are working in the floor tab (or electrical, etc), you will see a small black arrow at the right of the name. By clicking the small arrow you have the option of viewing or hiding other tabs. Just check all the names of the tabs)
- Lasso all the elements of the floorplan --> Don't use the "Select all" option!!!
- Edit--> Copy
- Go to the blank file you opened
- Edit--> Paste
- Save as (use other name to avoid confusion)
- Try to print this new plan.
