When adding cabinets to the kitchen, it defaults to a brown wood finish. How can I change the color of all the cabinets (eg. make them all white)? If I click on a color and drag it to a cabinet, it only gives me the option "Here Only", and it takes forever to click on every little piece of cabinetry to change the color.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe

Hi there,

you are not informing your version number, but as a general rule, when you use the SmartWand, you have different options, depending of the component. As you can see in this image

Cabinets Materials.jpg (58kb) downloaded 9 time(s).

Also, you can change the cabinets' defaults using the Quick Palette

Hi Patricia,
I'm using Home and Landscape Design Professional 19.0.8.1023, on Windows 10.

When I drag the paint color onto the cabinets I only see the 3 options: Here Only, Cancel, and Disable SmartWand. So perhaps it's just what's available in my version?

However, thanks for the tip about the Quick Palette, that's a good improvement to what I was doing.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe,

You should see all the options as shown in the image above.

Please, try to apply the color on a cabinet door and let us know about the results.

Hi Patricia,
I've been trying this on each of the cabinet doors but it will only display those 3 options. However, if I try it on a normal house door (ie. not a cabinet door), it does give me an additional option "All door panels in this structure". I've tried on a few other types of objects and it does give an extra option or two for those (eg. walls, trim), so it seems that the problem is only happening with cabinets/cabinet doors.

Not sure what else to try.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi there,

Can you please attach your Punch file to your post?
Note: zip the file first and attach it after.
