I'm trying to draw a shed roof with a 20" trussed rafter with 2' 2x4 tails. I drew a freehand shed roof with 20" rafters and added 2' freehand roof to show the tails around the main shed roof and matched the elevations of the the tops of the roof tails and the main roof. When you look at the frame rendering the roofs all match but when you look at the the texture rendering the 20" main roof shrinks to a 2x4 rafter roof and if you select the properties of that main 20" roof it shows 2"x1'8" rafters. I have attached pix's Burm Home Shed roof 3-D frame view with added sofit roof.jpg (51kb) downloaded 7 time(s). Burm Home Shed roof 3-D Shade Render View with added sofit roof.jpg (45kb) downloaded 7 time(s). Burm Home Shed roof 3-D frame view.jpg (62kb) downloaded 5 time(s).
Is there another way to draw a shed roof with larger rafters and small tails? I don't want more than 2"x6" fascia boards?

Hi there,

Create the roof segments and framing elements manually.
