I was working on a project yesterday, saved it and closed the file. When I tried to open it now I am getting the message "This file has been damaged, or was created by a more recent version of Punch! Home Design".

Working with V20. Any solution or is the project lost?

Hi there,

Very important => did you update your program? Please, check this post.

Also, go to the File Explorer and check the current size of the PRO file.

I just purchased the software and my first project did the same thing after about 5 hours of work on it. The file size says 0. this doesnt look good! Any help from anybody?

As stated in the previous answer => Did you install this update?

If you updated the program and you still have problems, contact Punch Tech Department

Thanks Patricia for the fast reply, I assumed since I just loaded the program yesterday and updated it before I started anything that everything was up to date.
I did send an email earlier. Looks like I will need to wait for Tech Dept. Do you know how long it usually takes for them to get back to you when you have issues? I have another issue with inserting cabinets :( it only allows me to insert island cabinet.

The cabinets is not a program issue => I just answered your question and explained how to place cabinets.

This forum is user to user, and we are volunteers here, therefore we don't know about the tech support answer, timeline, etc.
