Hi,

I understand using the arrow with # symbol can make an exact length of a wall. How do you set an exact length for other things like Detail objects or even the virtual ruler, or perimeters? Dragging the mouse is tedious as I can't easily make the measure stop on an exact number.... any clues?

Thanks

Hi there,

when you post questions at the Forum, please inform the exact name and version number of your program (V15 or V18 or V20, etc)
Different programs and versions include different features, so we need the information in order to provide the correct solutions.

Hi there,

In Edit Tool Bar, the second item is an arrow with a # sign called Resize Segment Tool (outlined in blue in the image below) => point the desired element (a line in this case) with this tool => the resize menu will open => update the length from the center / left / right as necessary.

Resize segment.jpg (27kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

Hope this helps
