Hi Garret,

Framing joists and walls are different surfaces so in Punch, they will appear with different shadows.
The surface of the exterior walls must be continuous, so if the height of the exterior walls of the first floor is= 96", the elevation of the exterior walls of the second floor must be 96"
I'd suggest to check the offset --> the rim must be in the center of the wall Also--> set the walls' height to include the rims / joists

How can one print all say three floor plans on one large sheet to scale ( 1 foot = 1/4 inch) or some
other suitable scale?

I have a large format printer that can print sheets up to 44-inches wide.

Thanks

Hi Marion,

Several options

1 - File--> Print to scale--> select the name of your printer --> Preferences --> Choose the size of your paper in this chart
A (letter) -->8.5 x 11 inches
Legal --> 8.5 x 14 inches
B (ledger) --> 11 x 17 inches
Super B/Super A3 --> 13 x 19 inches
C --> 17 x 22 inches
D --> 22 x 34 inches
E --> 34 x 44 inches
Print--> in this way you'll have the file printed in scale in your own printer

2 - Use the same parameters above with any PDF writer--> most of them have a large paper selection, and you can choose, color or black and white
You will find a tutorial in my website

3 - DWF files--> You can download (free) the Autodesk True viewer and Design review tools in order to convert your files to DWF and print after
I have a tutorial in my website

Let me know if you have questions
