Hello,

1 - Not sure what do you mean --> the wheels of my 2 mice work to zoom in / out all the time. Did you update the driver of your mouse?
2 - Yes, there is --> use the the right button of your mouse
3 - If you have V16, use 3D --> Decoration options --> Default design materials

Hi there,

You can use the hand tool to pan the drawing and move across the screen

Right click --> nope, didn't say this --> your question was --> There is no "elevator" neither vertical nor horizontal --> my answer --> Yes, there is --> use the the right button of your mouse --> this doesn't mean to right click on the plan --> in live view use the right button of your mouse to change view elevation

In most modern visual tools (like Visio, LucidChart, etc.) the wheel scrolls the screen vertically, the shift+wheel scrolls horizontally, and the Ctrl+wheel zooms in/out.

The problem for me is that I am very used to these more "standard" operations and every time I touch the wheel (usually by accident) the entire view re-centers and zooms in or out. I would love to map the mouse functions within the application through program settings. Is there such a thing?

Hi there,

The mouse functions are not related with modern or old settings but with standards associated with the type of products.

For example if I open a document using MS Word (for example), I will get a certain right click menu or wheel behavior that will be different compared with the right click menu or wheel behavior using Corel Paint Shop Pro, because they are different types of products that use different standards.
BTW, Corel PSP 2018 is a really modern program (it was released in August 2017) and the wheel zooms in and out.

In our case, using a Home Design program (like Punch), as well as any CAD program (Draftsight, Autocad, etc.) the mouse wheel zooms in and out.

In Punch 2D => left button selects, wheel zooms in and out, right click provides context menu
In Punch 3D => if you click the little man icon (for example) in the live view screen => using your mouse => hold the left button => go forward / backward / left right. The mouse wheel will look up and down. The right button will change the elevation of the little man.
