Can someone explain to me why when I invoke the photo launcher to real photo view , nothing happens. According to the handbook my image should appear when I select one from my files. I have the MAC version and must tell you this program and or guide gets very frustrating.

I am using version 14.7 and the DWG and DXF exports of my plan cannot be opened in AutoCad. They cause my AutoCad to crash and also the AutoCad of my contractor and his architect. I have been able to view the plan in SolidWorks eDrawings, but of course that is of only limited value. We have not used the insert text function in our plan (mentioned as a problem on the forum in a similar posting). Ralph C.

Ralph,
I received your files. Just in case you didn't receive my answer "I was able to open both files without problems. However, I found several problems with your DWG file. I think that I know the reason of the crash. If your architect has experience with CAD, he/she can solve the issue by cleaning the unnecessary elements and purging the file (this is the name of the function used in Autocad)"

The problem has been solved. The issue turned out to be that AutoCAD for Mac 2011 is not completely compatible with Mac OSX 10.7.2 unless update 3 is installed. My version of AutoCAD for Mac 2011 was the original, so I couldn't install any of the updates while running my Mac on the current OSX. Since I didn't want to figure out how to go back to the previous version of OSX, the solution was to purchase AutoCAD for Mac 2012. I think the reason the exported.DWG file didn't work for my contractor and architect was because the file had become contaminated when I tried to open it on my AutoCAD 2011. Thanks, Patricia, for offers of help.
