Hi Ralph,

I'm not sure if I understand your question
The plant toolbar / preview doesn't work? can you provide more details?

Yes, you can use a wall instead of a fence

I'm using Punch Home & Landscape Design Studio for the Mac for the first time. Also my Mac is new to me. I've got my 2d plan ready but when I click on the file menu the only options are open, open sample, open recent, close,& import. I've also tried shift-command P. It also doesn't show any save options. I don't know what else to try. I'm sure it's something simple, but very frustration. If you have any suggestion it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Sandy P.

Hi Sandy,

I'd say that you are in Quick start mode, right?
Using Quick start is like a napkin sketch or a fast layout so after you click Continue, you go to the project stage. Therefore, after you press the "Continue" button you will be able to use all the Punch features, including Save, Print, etc

Yes I was in quick start. I did the design, then clicked continue, where it shows the square footage of everything. Would that be the project stage? If not how do I get to that? I adjusted some things and tried to save it or print it and those were not available from the file menu. Also I accidentally cut something, so I went to the edit menu, undo was not available, so I tried the inspector window, but the history was empty. Sandy

Patricia, thank you for your help. Finally figured it out. I didn't register the program, so all features were not available until I registered it.

When I print from my MAC the printed copy is terrible, both at home on my Canon laser jet and at work on my HP Color laser.

Before on these printers with my Windows PC I had no problem making great printed copies.

What am I doing wrong, I have tried to find some setting to adjust????

Hi rdenison,

It seems a printing setting? Did you try to print to a PDF file so you can see if the problem is the printers' settings?
What do you mean by "terrible"? the quality? colors? 2D or 3D?

In my website, I have a tutorial that covers the Punch printing options, including PDF
http://www.punchhelpers.com/printingpunch.html
or you can check my e-book regarding this issue (see below)
