Hi there,
Some notes:
1 - What you call a feature to be developed, is a feature that we had in the past and fortunately, was already removed! In the (very) old Punch versions, the walls were developed with 2 different tools => exterior walls and interior walls. You can see the 2 different tools in the historic image below, showing old versions. The options to develop walls => the structural characteristics (framing, load, insulation, materials) of each wall can be defined by right clicking on the wall. The walls' properties can be defined using the properties tab.
This method is more related with what we (architects, for example) do every day => the structural walls are not always the walls in the exterior => sometimes, we have load walls in the interior of a house.
2 - In Punch, the software is capable to recognize the exterior and interior walls without any additional tool => if you check the image attached, you will see that the exterior walls include the foundations (pointed with a green arrow) and the interiors don't include foundations (pointed with a blue arrow).
3 - If you use a wall break, you are interrupting the continuity of the perimeter, that is necessary to define other aspects of the file.
Hope this helps.
