Hi sprad001,

If this version works as the Windows' version, try this--> Go to the floor tab--> click on the Door icon--> The Door menu will open (Tool option bar / right of the screen) --> click on the door icon / button--> a door selection will appear--> select the second starting from the bottom--> a the custom door tab will open--> click on the Door button--> choose double doors

I'm trying to create the double bi-fold doors. I figured I could just do two bifold doors together, but I can't get the second door to mirror the first. Any ideas? Basically, they are both opening the same direction instead of each from the center.

Hi there
Try this trick --> if you draw the wall from the left to the right--> the door folds to the left--> if you draw the wall from the right to the left--> the door folds to the right

You said the fold direction depends upon the direction you draw the wall. Are you saying that instead of drawing a single wall, I need to draw it in two segments?

I tried that, and it didn't work.

Nope, I didn't mention two walls
What I wrote is that--> if you draw the wall from the left to the right--> the door folds to the left--> if you draw the wall from the right to the left--> the door folds to the right

See attached --> it works in all the Windows versions

So if I want a pair of bi-folds in the same wall, one opening to the left and one opening to the right, how can I draw the wall in both directions at once? Your attachment stating it works has two walls, each with one door. Many of us need two doors in the same wall. Hence the earlier post about creating two walls....

Hi Dillopk,

Two bi-folds in the same wall is not the same that a double bi-fold because you'll have a casement for each door, therefore you will have two posts in the center. Independently of the flip issue two doors won't look as a double door.

If you want to create a bi-fold door with 2 or 4 folders => ... there is always a workaround :=)

For example, for 4 folders => Set 4 doors with 12" each (in white in the image attached)--> set the swing angle at 45 degrees and the trim at 1" --> set them together --> go to Materials --> Custom Library --> Punch Bonus Materials --> miscellaneous --> Black Transparent (the 8th icon) --> apply on the trims (both sides) --> Add an empty casement with 48" (in green in the image attached) --> group the doors as desired --> see attached
