Hi Dick,

You can do this by using --> File --> Export --> DXF or DWG (main menu)

Try this (assuming that you have 3 floors)
You need to Export the floors separately, so you must create a file for each floor

- Open your Punch plan.
- Set the first floor as working plan.
- Edit--> Select All--> Edit--> Copy
- Create a new and empty Punch file.
- Set the first floor as working plan.
- Edit--> Paste
- File--> Save as -->firstfloor.PRO
- File --> Export --> DXF/ DWG File --> Save as--> firstfloor.dxf or firstfloor.dwg

Repeat the process with level 2 and level 3
Open the files with a CAD program, and save them as layers of the same plan or separately.

thank you for your detailed steps on helping me. The floorplan I am working on is only one floor, and I tried completing the steps you gave me, but ran into some problems. When selecting the export tab from the file menu the only option for exporting is "Export 3D" which freezes the program and I am forced to close and reopen. I'm fairly certain that Home & Landscape Design Studio w/nexGen for mac is the correct name for the software that I am using, but it could also be the Home and Landscape Design Suite, not sure what the exact differences between the two are, or if it would make a difference when doing what I need to do would it? I can lookup that information if needed ASAP.
