Hi there,

Not all the versions have the same features and tools, and if you see the products details, you will see that some products include a Power Tool called 3D Workshop Pro (located at --> design --> launch a power Tool) as you can see in the description of this product, for example
http://www.punchsoftware...dio-pro-for-mac-v17.aspx
With this tool, you'll be able to import objects in different formats (Sketch up, DWG, 3DS, etc), make changes, etc

Just installed via download and when I choose File/Open Sample and I select a plan and choose Open nothing appears in the window. I even backed off the display settings to 1024x768 and did no good. How can I get these sample drawings to appear?

Hi there,

1 - Are you working in the Quick Start mode? If so, keep in mind that the Quick start mode is just this, a fast layout. Therefore, after you press the "Continue" button you will be able to Save, Import file, Print, Move as well as use all the Punch features, including the Power Tools
2 - I know that some Punch features are disabled until you register the program, so if you didn't register the program, take a moment to do this step
3 - Also --> confirm if the inspector is visible --> Window menu -> show inspector

Where are the Tutorial Drawings? In the Training Center the moderator states to Open the 'X' Drawing, i.e Topography for example.... where/how do I access these... It appears they are named topography.pro and the like but I can not find any such tutorial drawings on my hard drive.

Hi there,

Using the Photoview Power Tool, you can import the picture of your house to be used in liveview. In the plan you will see a line (the "board" where the picture is) and in live view you will see a background, house, etc After you import the picture, you can try different options, as you can see in the images linked below.

http://www.punchhelpers.com/exterior4.html
http://www.punchhelpers.com/exterior5.html
http://www.punchhelpers.com/exterior6.html
http://www.punchhelpers.com/exterior7.html

Notice that the imported picture, is just a 2d vertical board and you can't modify it after you imported it.

Now, if you intend to apply a satellite image on the ground, you must import the picture as material and apply it in liveview where the grass
is.
I have step by step tutorials in my e books

I can't even open the program and the 1 time I did I did not choose quick start & could not get back. I have had program a week and lost a big job because I couln't get program to work. I need a 3-D fairly simple program to diagram my designs in a professional way and that includes list and labels etc,

Hi there,
I will be glad to help, but first, I'd need to understand the problem.
You can't open the program why? are you receiving an error message?
Try to detail the problem as specifically as possible, step by step, so we can understand the issue. Let us know exactly what you want to do, what you tried, what seems broken, etc.

If you wish to post images --> follow these steps:
- upload your picture to a free online photo album like Photobucket or Flickr or Picassa, for example
- Look for the link of your picture (usually, photo albums provide a "link for a forum" script) --> copy the full URL --> Paste the link in your post

Some issues can be related to hardware you are using. Please post any information you have on your system (operating system, video card, etc).
