Hi Kendra, In Punch, the stairs go always from the lower floor to the upper floor So if the distance between the floor of the lower floor and the floor of the upper floor is 120 " --> in the lower floor, place a staircase with height= 120". In other words, to calculate the stairs, consider the distance between the floors of the two levels Don't forget to create a cutout in the floor / ceiling and set the elevation. To create the cutout: use the floor cutout tool (floor tab) to draw the stairs' opening --> select the cut--> set the thickness and elevation with the same parameters you used for the floor / ceiling Patricia --> My website: www.punchhelpers.com--> My all in one e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Training, Tools & Tutorials - Second Edition --> My e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Basic & Advanced Training-Second Edition --> My e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Importing, Exporting and Printing-Second Edition --> My e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Power Tools-Second Edition --> My free e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Mini - Tutorials --> My e-books free video presentation: Pat's e-books --> My Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/punchhelpers.links |
