Hi there,

In Punch, you have objects , like chairs, tables, etc. And you have components and special objects , like doors, windows, cabinets, accessories, etc.

This is a very important difference because the components and special objects have special properties. Specifically, the cabinets developed with the Cabinet Tool (Floor Tab), can be detailed and specified in the Properties tab, and you can add your sink creating the hole automatically, add drawers, molding, openings, shelves, etc.

The objects can be opened with the 3D Custom Workshop but they don't have any special property.

Of course, if you prefer, you can create your own cabinets with the 3D Custom Workshop Power Tool

I guess in my case I'd have to create my own cabinets then. My kitchen has a couple of angled walls and i need the cabinets to run with them.

Hi there,

You can create a new cabinet with the 3DCW or you can edit any 3D object in the Furnishing library (there are several vanities in the Bathroom library that you can open and customize with the 3DCW PT)

Another work around (depending of the type of cabinet)=> you can create the cabinet with the Cabinet Tool (Floor tab) => set the counter to almost 0" => create the new counter with the desired custom shape using the Floor tool (Floor tab)
