Hi Gary Slebodnick,

In this case, the best options is--> delete the wall in the second floor--> select the wall in the first floor--> increase the height so the wall height will be height of the 1st floor + height of the 2nd floor--> insert the window spanning both levels

If I make just one large wall and want to apply two different exterior finishes, i.e. cement foundation on the lower level, and vinyl siding on the second level... how would I do that on one wall...top and bottom...?

Thanks

Hi Gary,

Using NexGen, I can think about two workarounds

1 - (see image attached) Divide the wall in 3 segments (left, center and right)--> set the door in the central segment, with the width and height of the door only --> for the left and right segments--> set the two levels (that will show the different colors/textures - in red / green in the image)--> in the second floor adjust the settings (height and elevation ) of the wall over the door --> in orange in the image--> texture as necessary

2 - You can elaborate 3d panels with the help of the 3D workshop and set them in front of the walls
