Hi David,

The cabinets are created with the cabinet tool --> Floor tab --> Last icon --> Right bar --> set the type of cabinet, dimensions, etc --> don't forget to press Enter after each change

When you use the Cabinet tool (Floor Tab), you have two options to place the cabinets
- If you place the cabinet by clicking on the floor of the room, Punch will set an island cabinet
- If you place the cabinet by clicking on the wall of the room, Punch will set a wall cabinet using the selected model

Tip: after you insert the cabinet by clicking on the wall --> select the cabinet on the plan --> go to the cabinets' drop down menu --> select the desired model When you use the Cabinet icon (Floor Tab), you have two options to place the cabinets
- If you place the cabinet by clicking on the floor of the room, Punch will set an island cabinet
- If you place the cabinet by clicking on the wall of the room, Punch will set a wall cabinet using the selected model --> See attached

Tip: after you insert the cabinet by clicking on the wall --> select the cabinet on the plan --> go to the cabinets' drop down menu --> select the desired model --> the selected cabinet (floorplan) will become the selected cabinet in the drop down menu

Thanks. Now when I try to place upper cabinets after I place the lowers, it just wants to select the lowers. It will place an upper in a different spot, but when I try to position it above the lowers, it will just select the lower and not allow me to place. I see a symbol for both lower and upper, but mine are different lengths, so I cannot place as a single unit. I must do separately. This is really confusing.

Create the two cabinets (base and upper) on different parts of the same wall --> work on the settings of each part --> select each cabinet and move it along the wall using the arrows in your keyboard --> place the 2 cabinets in the desired location

using Home & Landscape Design Premium Next Gen vs3. Cannot see where 3D Custom Workshop is started up from in the program. Manual includes but don't see anything about it in the software itself. Is it an add on program - if so I did not see it onthe punch website

Hi Keith,

The 3D Custom Workshop is one of the Punch's Power Tools, included with all the Punch's versions.
You will find the 3D Custom Workshop as well as the other Power Tools at --> Main Menu --> Design --> Launch Power Tools --> The Power Tool menu will open --> Choose the desired power tool --> in this case, click 3D Custom Workshop

I only get base cabinets. If I select say an upright refrigerator in the right hand bar, I still get a standard base cabinet. Any suggestions?

I'm using Home & Landscape Design Premium Next Gen v3. I am doing a kitchen design where the sink is in the corner. How do i fill the void of the counter-top to the walls without extending past the exterior walls of the kitchen? Also, how do I get the back splash to work for that section of cabinets? The toe kick is a problem also. I may have to send a pdf or word doc to give you a better explanation.

Hi there,

Yes, an image will be great, so I can see the situation

If you wish to post images --> follow these steps:
- upload your picture to a free online photo album like Photobucket or Flickr or Picassa, for example
- Look for the link of your picture (usually, photo albums provide a "link for a forum" script) --> copy the full URL --> Paste the link in your post

I am trying to create drawer only cabinets for both bathrooms and kitchens. I want the drawers to be all the way down the cabinets with no doors. I have tried it, but the stacking options only stack above the doors. Can this be done? If so, how?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Please, follow these steps
1 - In the Floor tab --> use the Cabinet tool --> place a base cabinet --> set the desired dimensions, backsplash, etc.
2 - Select the cabinet --> On the right pane --> Click on the button bellow the Cabinet Style icon --> a menu will open --> the second option is "Base Door" --> click on this option --> set the door height = 0"
3 - Select the cabinet --> On the right pane --> Click on the button bellow the Cabinet Style icon --> a menu will open --> the third option is "Drawers" --> click on this option --> set the desired number of drawers, the height of each drawer, the elevation, if you wish to stack the drawers, etc
