I'm having the same problem with an extra roof. It looks like the same mansard roof in the quick start and it won't go away. It's frustrating.

Hi there,

You need to uncheck the "Automatic Roofs" option.

Draw your plan--> go to the roof plan-->as usual, the roof will be developed automatically --> click on the eave --> the roof will be selected--> properties bar--> tool options--> Options--> uncheck "automatically generates panels"

Hello, i read all the topic about unchecking auto-roof option, but i can't find the way you say.

draw your plan (ok), go to the roof plan (ok), click on the eave (ok), properties bar ( ? i don't have this option !) on the right side of the screen i have a tool options box but i don't see ''option button''

maybe i don't have the same program version ?

i buy : punch! home & landscape design suite v 14.0.0

someone can help me ?

Hi Patrick

The properties bar (called Properties Edit Sheet in NexGen) is on the right side of your screen. If you don't see it, perhaps is not activated. As per the help files (Selecting the Properties Edit Sheet)--> On the collapsible Edit Toolset, click the Selection Tool.
Click the feature you want to customize. The Properties Edit Sheet is displayed.
Note: If the Properties Edit Sheet does not automatically display, reset it by checking Auto Display Tool Options on the Window menu.

When you select the roof eave, the screen looks like the attached image
