We are using Home&Landscape Professional v19

What.jpg (44kb) downloaded 6 time(s).

I was working on attached project and this happened - image is supposed to show Floor Plan, but this is what it shows. Unfortunately I saved before closing out, and now I need to go back to the original plan, prior to me saving. This sort of thing happened once before and we were able to go back and find the work using %AppData% but I can't remember and find on here how to actually do that. Can you please help? Thanks, Audie Confused

That was in the very old versions. In the current version, there is only one instance of self recovery (automatic). It works great after a crash, but in this case, you saved a new version, so you won't find an old unsaved version of your file.

Not sure what happened with the file, but if you wish, feel free to zip and attach your file, and I will check it.

I thought that might be the case.

Hoping you can help. Please see attached: Working Drawings Model - Floor Plans & Elevations - Tues 31st July 2018.zip (44kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

Many thanks, Audra

Hi Audra,

I checked you file. This is really confusing... Confused

If you see the floor plan and 3D Elevation mode, you will see the same elements. 3D Liveview shows just a white screen.
Were you trying to create an elevation in the floor plan? Did you create a floor plan?

Can you explain the intended plan / use / design sequence?

Hi Patricia,

There was already a floor plan, and also elevations. I was trying to check a measurement, while on phone to client, and also work colleague was standing over me writing messages, so I suppose you could say I was distracted by work colleague. I'm not entirely sure what, or how it, happened. Next thing I know it looked as per the image I sent you. I tried to go to the floor plan, as I was in the elevations section, but nothing happened. It was like it was frozen.

If its not fixable, never mind, I do have another copy that I used for something else, I will just have to put all the dimensions back onto the floor plan. Just time consuming. Just thought I'd see if it can be fixed before doing that. Thanks, Audra Unsure ThumbDown

Hi Audra,

Unfortunately, the file looks corrupted, so I don't have a solution for you Sad

Good luck with the new plan! BigGrin
