I recently upgraded my Mac to macOS Big Sur, Version 11.0.1. I cannot get existing design files to open. Is this a compatibility problem?

Update. When I ask the question: "If I purchase Punch! HDS Complete 20 from the Apple Store will this software run on my iMac with Version macOS Big Sur, Version 11.0.1.? "
I Received the following reply from Encore: "Unfortunately not. Our current version 20 MAC products will not run on Big Sur. Our developers are working on a new version that will work with the newest operating system, but at this time we do not have a potential release date for this."

Yesterday, when I contacted Punch regarding this issue, I was informed that they checked V20 and it was working without problems.

I will check again today.

Update: I just received a confirmation from Punch that the preliminary tests didn't show any problem with V20 on macOS 11.0.1.

Waiting for testing with V19.
