Hi, I've got an issue where my dimensions are not adding up. I started with the quick start on this design but somehow I've introduced a dimension error as I've added addition points and I can't figure out how Punch even gets to this state. Two sets of dimensions add up differently on the same wall segment. The overall length of the segment is 12' which shows up correctly. The segment contains 3 windows, each 3' wide, butted side by side, and centered in the segment. For some reason, the center-to-center dimensions of the windows and the dimensions to each end of the wall segment don't add up to 12'. No matter how I move them around, it's always 1/16" short. I've attached a screen shot. Appreciate any insight folks might have on this.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Punch precision is up to 1/16". If you move the element with the snap to grid activated and the gap is less than 1/16", you will see an issue as the one in your picture.

I'd suggest that you set the options with smaller snaps so you can set the dimensions without gaps.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Patricia! I did already have my snap to grid set at 1/16". But your suggestion got me thinking in a different direction. I ended up just deleting all the windows, then recreating them, and that seemed to fix the issue.

Appreciate your quick help!

Thanks,
Dan
