Two options:
1 - In order to place a cabinet (cabinet tool) in a different angle or detached from the walls, I use the following trick => create a small wall with the length of the cabinet => set the height = 2 or 3 inches (for example} => move / rotate the short wall to the desired location => place the cabinet.
2 - Create the cabinets with the 3D Custom Workshop Power Tool.

If you are interested my Basic and Advanced Collection includes a library with cabinets as 3D objects that you edit, modify, etc. You don't need a wall to insert these cabinets.
