When I add a shorter wall (2') next to the 12' exterior wall the floor comes up 2'. When I add a 7' wall under the staircase next to a 12' wall it drops the ceiling height to 7'. How do you turn off the auto floor and ceiling heights?

Hello,

When you post questions at the Forum, please inform the version number of your program (V15 or V18 or V21, etc).
On the PC you will find this information in the main menu => Help => About…

Different programs and versions include different features, so we need the information in order to provide the correct solutions.

Hi there,

The automatic ceiling height is defined (in each room) by the height of the lowest wall.

Step 1 - select the room (click on the center of the room) => properties bar => uncheck the "show ceiling" option.
Step 2 - select the room (click on the center of the room) => properties bar => uncheck the "show floor" option.

You can create a manual floor / ceiling using the floor tool (Floor tab) => set the thickness and elevation.

Hope this helps.
