Hi there,

Unfortunately, you can't move the trace image.
You can try to edit one of the images so they will have the same dims / scale / geometry.

I managed to convert my pdf architectural drawings to jpeg files and will import into my HD&L Pro, V19 in Win 10. I have several questions for those that have experience using the trace properties. 1) When tracing the walls, is it better to use the detail tab, using the lines, and then converting to walls, or actually use the custom wall tab? 2) I have two floors, basement and main floor, but each floor is a separate file (drawback to converting file). Would it be better to use one schematic and then just copy the trace to another floor to continue building out the floor? Thanks

1) Either one really but I prefer the wall tool, then i just nudge things around using the arrow keys to get it to line up better. I'd suggest creating the entire perimeter as one connected wall first.

2) I'd trace the basement floor, then copy those walls to the main floor and edit those. It will be easier to keep the walls lined up where needed. (Edit menu->Copy to Floor).

OK, I'm confused. I can see this answer might apply to my second question but what about my first?
