Hi there,

there are two options
1 - You can set the slope or other topo elements first. In this case, you can set the floor of the basement will be at elevation 0.00 and go up with the topography
2 - You can create a sunken first floor (basement), In this case, the elevation of the floor of the basement will be negative (-96", for example)=> create the topo accordingly.
Check these examples in my website:

I've already created the basement and first floor plans. I'm still not sure how to set part of the floor in the basement to be even with the main floor (also the garage). Not sure what you mean by going "up" with topography. I even bought your book and it does not appear to address these issues.

Hi there,

Of course my eBook addresses the subject. The issue is so important, that I mention that it is covered in the eBook's introduction (About this Book).

In fact, in the chapter called "How to Tutorials" there is a nice tutorial called "How to create a walk out basement?"(starting at page 238)(see preview attached)
Of course, if you wish a better understanding of the topography elements, please, review the chapter called "Topography and Landscape" (staring at page 101)

Let me know if you experience problems with this tutorial.

If I send you the architectural drawings, how much for you to draw the house in V19. This is not as user friendly as I thought.
