Hi there,

You're welcome! :-)
Thank you for visiting my galleries!

Regarding your questions:
Columns (http://www.punchhelpers.com/residential13.html ) => It is a Punch Object => In your program, go to the Furnishing library => Building elements => Columns => Assembled => this column is the first item of the library. I applied white color on the column.
Wood ornaments (http://www.punchhelpers.com/exterior10.html) => they are separated pieces created with the 3D Custom Workshop.

Hi Pat:
Thank you for your quick reply.

If I want to add a similar pattern/profile (like on the pillar on your gallery) to a wall, how should I do it ?

Once again thank you for all your help.

Hi there,

You're welcome! :-)

You can open the column using the 3D Custom workshop and use one of the sides to create a custom paneling. The 3D Custom workshop is an amazing power tool, you can create almost anything!
Or, as I told you yesterday, import the desired texture and apply on a wainscot.
Good textures look like real panels. For example, look the wood panels in the lower part the windows of this image
http://www.punchhelpers....residential_gallery.html
It is a texture.

Thanks Pat for all your assistance.

I am just wondering, on the current version, there is no texture editor isn't it ?

The 3D Custom workshop is the next thing that I am going to learn.

Thanks Pat for all your assistance.

I notice that with the Material Editor, I can only change the color, hue etc, but no option to change the pattern etc. Is that right ?

That's correct you can't edit the pattern. I usually look online for the pattern/material i want, download it, then import it. That's if I can't find one in the existing library that comes with Punch.

For that exterior wood I'd search the library for "beam", you'll get a few wood beams in the list. You could add one to your plan and then double click it to edit it in the workshop, rotate it resize, etc. Going to be tedious though if you aren't familiar with the workshop, a lot of going back and forth adjusting it. Work on the "front grid" in the workshop.
