Hi there,

Several factors:
1 - when you import a 3D background, the picture is stretched to cover the background, therefore if the quality and the resolution (dpi) of the original picture is not good, the output won't be good.
2 - Usually, if the format of the original picture is jpg or bmp, the results are not good. I'd suggest that you choose original pictures developed in png format => note that if you save the jpg as png, the image won't change its quality.
3 - The DPI (dots per inch) is an important parameter => try to use pictures with 600 dpi or more.
4 - Set the light conditions to reflect the best conditions for the image.
5 - This is a personal opinion => depending of the picture, I had better results importing the picture with PhotoView Power Tool.
