Hi there,

If the menu is grayed out, then you are in "Quick Start mode". The Quick start mode is just this, a fast layout, that you can use or just bypass it.
Therefore, after you press the "Continue" button you will be able to save, import, trace, print, move, use the Power Tools, set the precision and units, as well as use all the Punch features.

If you are interested, you will find a step by step tutorials in my eBook exclusive for Mac V19 users

Thank you for your reply. I'm trying to decide if I can move forward using Punch. I have imported my skp file into Punch, but it only shows up in the 3d view. Can you work with a drawing, add and resize plants, etc. in the 3d view? Seems to only be available in 2d, but I can't get the file to show up in that view.
Thank you for your help!

Hi there,

Sketchup objects are intended to be used as 3D objects, not as floor plans. I'd suggest that you try to import your floor plan using the the Trace image feature.
Punch, as any program, has a learning curve. The best way to learn the program, IMO, is practice + practice + practice => Read and follow the manual (this is important), see the videos => try to create elements not related with your project, so you will become familiar with the commands and how to develop the different components.

Hi there

Please inform the title name and version number of your Punch program (features are different for different versions). On the Mac this info is on the title menu->About…
