Hi there,

Sure. To find the title blocks => Go to Templates => templates library => Title blocks => drag and drop the desired template.
To resize it => select the template => as it was developed with the 3D workshop, when you select the block, the dimensions will appear on the right pane => change the desired dimensions => don't forget to press Enter after each change.
To change the text => select the text => Right pane => Edit => change the text / font. You can add your additional texts using the Text Tool.

Also, for scaled title blocks => Check this collection => http://www.punchhelpers.com/store3.html

Is there a way that I can convert my drawings to the PDF format? I need to provide a PDF format to get my drawings printed in the 'Arch D' size. My printer of course will not do that size; so I have to take them to Office Depot to get them printed. How can I change them to PDF format?

Thank You;
John

Hi John,

Sure.
In order to get PDF files, you must "print to PDF".
Of course, you need a PDF program in your computer. If you don't have one, you can download a free PDF program from the web.
I have a free tutorial about PDF printing in my website http://www.punchhelpers.com/pdfprint.html

Hi All,

Over the years as Forum Moderator and Punchhelpers owner, I noticed that some topics are very challenging for our users. For this reason, I am creating my Collections in order to provide answers and solutions.
Today, I will comment a recurring question about Printing:

The problem:
“I need to print my permit plans and elevations. The building department is asking for scaled drawings (¼”=1’), paper size 17”x 22” (also called ANSI C). How do I do this?”

Pat’s Solution:
After you draw your project using the requested scale, your plans are ready to be printed (image 1)
However, you need to match the drawing limits with the paper size and this is why this section of my collection 7 works like a wizard!

Just select the desired frame model and size (among the 56 options) and drag and drop the scaled frame on the drawing (image 02).

Select the desired paper size in the program settings (image 3).

Preview the page: the drawing will fit exactly in the paper (image 4).

At this point, you can print it in your home or commercial printer or you can create a scaled PDF file (image 5).
