Hi there, You wrote => "In v14, wall ends snap to each other if they are within one foot. This cannot be turned off and the 1 foot sensitivity cannot be changed" => I am not sure what do you mean? => In version 14, the "snap to wall" as well as the "snap to grid" features can be activated or deactivated in the 2D menu (see image attached). You can modify the snap to grid distance (1 ft) by changing the size of the grid. Anyway, V19 includes different snap options / controls. Thanks for a quick response. In v14 (upgraded to 14.02), if you try to move a wall so that an end of the wall is less than 1 foot from the end of another wall (or the intersection of 2 walls), the end of the wall you are moving immediately jumps to the end of the other wall. As you move the wall close a circle appears around the end of the wall that isn;t moving and if you cross the circle, the wall jumps. My v14.02 does not have the option to turn "snap to wall" on or off. At any rate, if the current version doesn't have the above problem, I will be glad to upgrade.

Hi there, You're welcome! Check the image attached => it is a screenshot of Premium V19, showing all the available snap settings => you can select and set these options on/off. Therefore, I think that you will not experience any snap issue ;-) Patricia G. / Forum Moderator --> My website: www.punchhelpers.com--> My all in one e-book for V19 (Windows): Learning Punch Software (R): Training, Tools & Tutorials for V19 - Windows Version --> My all in one e-book for V19 (Mac): Learning Punch Software (R): Training, Tools & Tutorials for V19 - Mac Version --> My all in one e-book for V18: Learning Punch Software (R): Training, Tools & Tutorials for V18 --> My Home Design e-book: Designing your Dream Home Using Punch Software --> My all in one e-book for previous versions: Learning Punch Software (R): Training, Tools & Tutorials - 2nd Edition --> My e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Basic & Advanced Training-Second Edition --> My e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Importing, Exporting and Printing-Second Edition --> My e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Power Tools-Second Edition --> My free e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Mini - Tutorials --> My e-books free video presentation: Pat's e-books --> My Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/punchhelpers.links--> My Tips & Tricks notes: https://www.facebook.com/punchhelpers.links/notes |
