I am having troble printing a floor plan I have tried to copy to new floor and print and still nothing, when I preview it on the print window it shows a blank white page. very confusing, the program will print other floor plans, it just seems to have a problem with this one. I even re-drew the plan and still it would not print. Please has anyone had this problem and if so what can i do???

HiStephen in order to print, Punch collects all the info in the plan, so if you have any object (even a dot) in any corner, Punch will consider it as part of the plan and will print it --> in this case you'll see this as blank pages or blank space in the paper To solve this, select the house --> try to lasso the plan (rectangular selection around the walls), don't use Select all--> Edit--> copy--> open a new (and empty) Punch file--> Paste--> try to print from this new file Other resources for printing - If you have a PDF writer, you can create your own scaled PDF files. Just follow this short tutorial http://www.punchhelpers.com/pdfprint.htmlThere are many free PDF writers, go to www. download.com and perform a search with the keyword "free PDF' - Other interesting (and free) resource is the DWF conversion. You can download the DWF writer for free in the Autodesk page and it works in the same way that the PDF writer. The recipient needs to install the DWF viewer (it is free, and the printing companies use it) You can see more info about DWF printing in this page of my website http://www.punchhelpers.com/dwffiles.htmlPatricia --> My website: www.punchhelpers.com--> My NEW e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Basic & Advanced Training --> My e-book: Learning Punch Software (R): Importing, Exporting and Printing --> My e-books video presentation: Pat's e-books --> My Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/punchhelpers.links |
