Hi charles bauduy,

In the Landscape tab--> use the second icon (ground fill)--> create the fill zone with several border points (each time you click the mouse, is a point)--> Edit--> set object elevation--> float above topography

or
Right click the ground fill area--> set object elevation--> float above topography

or
Right click on the elevation slider (left of the screen)--> set object elevation--> float above topography

hello patricia, thanks for the help but i tried what you said and it didnt work for me. the ground fill is floating above the topography but its not following the slope of the berm. i also tried using the circular fill tool and it didnt work either.

Hi charles bauduy,

lets clarify a very important concept: the ground fill tool or any other tool in Punch, they don't cover a berm like a table towel, for example

If we are talking of a big area, you can divide it in small surfaces and create a fill area for each one--> float above topography for each area

Hope this helps

hey paricia, that is exactlly what i was tryin to accomplish with the ground fill( cover a berm like a table towel). since thats not how it works, is there any way to add mulch to a berm without mulching the entire ground surface?

Hi charles bauduy,

There are few workarounds

One of them, as I stated is the use of small surfaces
Other resource I used is the "inverted" texture
- Create the berm--> texture all the lot with mulch--> create a fill zone--> texture with grass

See attached

Hi Charles,

The big bucks??? What big bucks??? :-)

I am not a Punch employee. I am just an Architect, and of course, an experienced Punch user. I started with Punch in 2001 and am still an enthusiast!
