Hi Phillip Kutch,

What kind of calculator are you looking for? prices, ducts, air volume, heating load, AC load, fans, engines?

Hi Patricia, Do you know of any calculators for determining air volume, AC and heating loads? Other than guestimating based on rough room/btu charts, I'm at a loss here. I want to make sure I don't specify a weak heating system or air conditioning system. Thanks, Janet

Hi Janet,

HVAC calculations are based in Thermal Balance Calculations. These calculations determine the temperature in a building based on several parameters (sun exposure, building type, wall materials, glasses, insulation, air renovation, etc)
This means that each house, building, is different.
Once you elaborated the Thermal Balance, you will be able to specify the right HVAC equipment

Hope this helps!
