Hi plp23,

I am not sure if I understand your request

Regarding Excel comma delineated text file--> do you mean comma Delimited? The Estimator Power Tool is the only Punch file that can exported to Excel--> In the PT--> Click Export on the File menu, then click either Excel File, Comma Delimited, Tab Delimited, QuickBooks Item List, or HTML.
Import format--> for the floorplan? objects? If you mean a floorplan --> Punch imports / exports DXF and DWG --> notice that the program imports only the 2D plan and not a 3D model.
DXF files can be converted to text, if you know how to write / read DXF entities
Objects can be imported as 3DS, sketchup.
Plotting--> this requires the setting of your plotter, not Punch's

My apologies, on re-reading my question I see I confused things a bit.

Forget the Excel issue, as it satisfied his initial request for data. Now I would like to provide him with importable coodinates, in a format Platinum Pro can use.

This file contains the topography of his lot, as well as location of existing buildings.

Hi plp23,

As I understand the issue, you are creating a Topo / Plot plan--> so your best option is development of a DXF / DWG file--> Punch Platinum (V8 and up) will import this file, scaled, using the DXF / DWG Import Power Tool
Notice that, in Punch Platinum, you cannot convert the DXF / DWG lines to topo elevations
However, you can use them to trace the topo elements
