Hi Robert

Probably, you have a lost element in a far corner or perhaps a point far from the plan (sometimes is just a small point). If so, you have some elements changing the ratio paper / drawing
You can try to find the lost element (check each tab and the 3 levels, until you find the element) or you can try this.

- Open a new and empty file in Punch
- Open your plan--> Be sure that all the layers are present -->. By clicking on the name of the tab you have the option of viewing or hiding other tabs. Just check all the names of the tabs)
- Lasso all the elements of the floorplan --> Don't use the "Select all" option!!!
- Edit--> Copy
- Go to the blank file you opened
- Edit--> Paste
- Save as (use other name to avoid confusion)
- Try to print this new plan.

I am trying to enlarge a particular area of my floor plan and print it out. For instance just the Living/Dining area and nothing more. I can't seem to accomplish this. Help appreciated!

I'm using H&L Design Pro, ver 14.2.3. Having the same problem as Robert in centering a drawing. Goes all over the place. There are no lost elements.

On another subject, where is the lasso? I don't see one anywhere.

Thx,
Ken

Hi Ken,

Lasso in not the name of a Punch tool. In computing, it means the process of selecting / capturing elements inside a certain area.
So in Punch, select the arrow --> select a point in the plan --> move the arrow --> you will see a rectangle and a color change --> all the elements inside the rectangle are "lassoed"

You can't center the drawing in the page or you have empty pages? Did you try to print to PDF?

I go to the set up and I put in postcard and size. I put in the picture I want to print and it does not print the size of the postcard on my paper which is 8x11 and it has also printed small. What can I do?

Image will not print full size on paper. Prints floor plan with very
large margins.
