Hi,
Is there a way to tie a trace image to one file? Have 2 different projects with different trace images. Went to start working on Project A and when I opened it up had the correct trace image. Then went to Project B and the trace image was from Project A. Is there a way for me to not have to re-scale and reset the trace image each time? Do I need to save in a specific way?

Am using Arch. Design Series Ver. 18

Thanks in advance,
Devon

Hi Devon,

Not sure what do you mean?

Say you created Project A using Trace Image 1 and Project B using Trace Image 2 => if you open Project A, it will show Trace Image 1 unless you change it => if you open Project BA, it will show Trace Image 2 unless you change it.

Hi,
They do use different trace images. Project A uses a sat photo, Project B an actual survey - after working on Project A I closed it and decided to do some work on Project B and the sat photo is showing as the trace image. I didn't change it. Don't always have the TI showing. I did some work and then wanted to check it against topo lines so clicked to view TI and it was the sat photo. No idea why.

I saw this issue with files that were linked. For example => I was working with File 1 and I "saved as" File 2.

If this is the case, I'd suggest to create 2 files with different names and load 2 different trace images => save the trace images in different directories.

Hope this helps.
