I'm running V21 on Windows10 and all of a sudden 3D view will not come up. It was working yesterday but not today. The 3D will show when I select split screen 2D/3D.

V21 on windows 10. The color change will give me a circle (like buffering) but nothing happens. I've disabled the acceleration for the graphics but still just gives me the blue circle spiraling. Thanks!

Hi there,
Probably your questions are related.
1 - can you inform the characteristics of your computer (OS, memory, video card, motherboard, etc)
2 - are you using a docking station?
3 - can you inform the size (in Mb) of your Punch file? |

Here is the info on my HP Spectre Laptop:
Windows 10 64bit
Motherboard ID 827 E Total Memory 16 GB
Graphics- Intel HD Graphics 620
Graphics total memory - 8259 MB
Graphics display memory - 128 MB
Graphics Shared memory - 8131 MB
Bios F.49
DirectX Features: Version X12
Direct Draw Acceleration - Enabled
Direct 3D Acceleration - Enabled
AGP Texture Acceleration - Enabled
Punch File Size - 5,661 KB
Not using a docking station just a wireless mouse.
If a new laptop would be better, please advise on specs to look for.

Hi there,
I believe that I can identify the problem.
In order to confirm the issue, please, do the following test:
- Open a new a clean Punch file => draw a couple of walls (any type or style) => go to live view => are the problems still experiencing the same problems? |

When I click 3D View Window = nothing.
When I click Split 2D/3D Window it does pop up
When I click Full 3D it also pops up.

Hi there, I'd say that it is a hardware problem. - As your video card is integrated, usually, these cards don't have a good performance for rendering purposes. Anyway, I'd suggest that you verify / check / update the settings and drivers of your video card. - Large files need more Ram memory, so close any other application, browsers, etc.. - Go to => Edit => Preferences => System => Graphics => Hardware Acceleration. By default, the level of the accelerations is "Full" => Move the control to the center and see if your issue is solved. If not, move the control to the left (None) => check if your issue is solved. If the tips above don't solve the issue, I'd recommend that you contact tech support so they can check the issues in your computer (software and hardware), OS settings, etc. as well as your system, limitations, etc. They are the experts for these problems.
