It's amazing what asking a question does for your sanity. I have been living with this annoying problem for months. I should have asked before. Thanks very much

Hiya New to 3000 and having problem with almost same thing as you. I cant change the pitch. Am following instructions on page 51 of user manual. To define a gable wall segment. 5. Type height - C and height - D (if necessary). Click OK. How do I click OK? Or does it simply mean press enter on my keyboard? Am probably being dumb here but I cannot change the pitch to anything other than 10.00 - 12. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi paul s wright, Yes, you need to press enter on your keyboard. Not only for the pitch, but to confirm the dimensions of doors, windows, etc Let us know if you need additional help Patricia

Hi Patricia Thanks for reply. setting door, window etc dimensions is no problem but no matter what I try the programme will not let me define a gable wall pitch of anything other than 10:12. I am able to type in any pitch but as soon as I press enter it always reverts back to 10:12. Great programme but this problem has stopped me in my tracks and I cannot progress with my house design. Yours sincerely, Mr frustrated.

Hi kthompson,

Just click on the wall selection (properties bar)--> the shape wall menu opens (check image attached)--> the second item is a gabled wall--> set the dims and pitches according with elevations and the roof's pitch

Let us know if you need additional help

The settings for the gabled wall pitch will not change. I edit them and they automatically shift back to 10:12 when i draw the wall. When I edit them on an already drawn wall, they dont change either. help!

Hi nic2000

For V8 versions or up, after you enter the windows or doors dimensions or a wall dimension or a pitch, etc you need to press the enter key in your keyboard after you write each value

Hope this helps
