Hi ilicil,

I just opened an old Plat file and I selected / deleted the windows without problems

However, you wrote that the old files were created in Punch Platinum 4.5.--> perhaps there is a problem with the version number--> Try this --> open your Punch Platinum 4.5.--> Help--> About --> the splash screen will appear--> on the left up corner, you will see the version number--> you should see "Version 4.5.1."--> If you see just "Version 4.5." you should download and install this patch
http://www.punchsoftware...m/patches/patch_plat.htm
After the patch, open the old file and save it again--> it should work fine in your new AS 3000

I had similar problems trying to remove or move plumbing items. After pulling my hair out over the weekend, I just by shear luck found the answer. Click on the item you want to remove and depress the delete key. This leaves the walls and other items untouched. It would really be beneficial if they would include this somewhere in the manual or tutorials. Bill
