Hi lawyerdude,

There are several ways to elaborate a spiral staircase with AS 4000. Try these

- (This is my favorite) Go to the detail tab, click on the Circular Arc tool (6th from the left) and draw an arc, following the path and size of the stairs (270° is a good guess). Then go to the properties bar (left side of the screen)--> Convert to--> Staircase
- In the floor tab, (or deck tab) use the Curved Stairway tool. You can draw and stack up different segments
- If it is a special model, you can elaborate it with the 3D workshop

Hope this helps

The stairs in the image attached were created in Punch AS 4000, using the method described in my post (with 270°)

Hope this helps
