Hi AVM88,

Unfortunately, using this old version, there isn't a way to use the Custom materials with the Photoview Editor
You can use only colors, custom colors and Punch texture's library

Of course, you can try with Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

Other option. Mask the floor of your picture--> Insert you picture in Punch--> build a floor in Punch--> Have fun with the Custom Textures!

Let us know if you need additional help

And I'd like to add some observations too ;-)

Yes, of course Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro will do a great job, but as you know, they are mostly oriented to the image professionals, or at least Photoshop is. With Photoshop, you can't simply drag and drop a texture. And certainly it is not an intuitive process.
With the Photoview editor, you just draw the shape and fill with texture.

Actually, Punch encourages the users to use the Photoview editor to change the house's materials. The introduction to this feature is "With PhotoView Editor, you can apply different building materials onto your home's picture. No redrawing walls, no adding windows and doors - just click and drag a new material onto your home!"

Of course it is not as "realistic" as a 3D model but, IMO, is a valid and fast "what if" tool

Just my opinion...
