Hi tbolt2000,

You can't use different elevations in the same topo element (line, polygon, etc)

If you wish, send me your file and I'll check it
(please include the program's name and version and a short reminder of the problem)

For learning purposes

I checked the file of tbolt2000 and I'd like to share some tips for topo development
1 - to develop the topography using the Topo Designer Power Tool--> remember the most important concept--> Topo Designer draws all elevations as absolute--> this means that the elevations work by difference--> set the 0", building pad, etc
2 - best practice--> use less topo elements as well as smaller topo elements (slopes, lines, etc.)--> in this way you will be able to craft the plan to fit the topo, and set the slopes in the right direction

If you add points to the Slople Lot Section in topo designer to create a curve slope line does it remove the slope calculation between the two slope lines? It seems like it does. It seems like the program would be much easier to create slopes and contours if you where abled to grab the grid points in Clear View and move the gride points. If I could get this topo down I might get somewhere.

Hi tbolt2000.

Nope, if you add more points, you will have more calculation time.
Of course, and as I stated in my email to you and the post above, the topo calculations are absolute, therefore if you add a topo contour inside a second topo contour, you will get the difference
You can't set different elevations for different points in the grid (clear view)
