verify if the walls are "fused" --> this happens when you join the walls using the mouse and not the arrow keys in your keyboard --> in other words, join the walls using the mouse so the walls will be a wall set and they will share the properties

Anyway, the default drawing setting is Centers (not Surfaces) so each time you draw a wall, you need to set it as Surfaces. I'd suggest that you draw all the walls--> select all the walls--> set the dims'reference as exterior
