I am trying to arrange plants by using compass angle and distance from a known spot. Angles seem to jump to 5 degree increments. Any suggestions on locating existing trees would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Bruce Dale,

there are several resources

1 - If you have MLP 7.5 or up, you can use the snap tools located in the right up corner
2 - To move a plant or other object select the object--> Edit --> Move--> Type the exact distance you wish to move (on X or Y)
3 - Usually, plants don't rotate (you can rotate a line with plants or a group of them) To rotate a line for example and to avoid the 5 degrees increment issue --> select the line--> Edit--> rotate--> type the exact angle

Hope this helps

The box for customizing the Planting Age is off the edge of my work space, so not useable. I have tried resizing my work space but the box remains off of the edge. Is there some way to fix this? I'm using Home and Landscape Design Professional

Hi Kathy,

Try this:

- Close your programs. Go to your desktop.
- Right click --> Properties --> Settings --> Advanced
- Search the configuration for the Display (The tab is different in different Windows / Video card configurations).
- Set the DPI settings in Normal Size (96 DPI)
This should correct the problem

For Win7
