Hi charles bauduy

Did these features work before? (I mean with XP, or other Windows version?)

Punch reports that all the versions are 100% compatible with Vista http://punch.custhelp.co...X3NlYXJjaF90ZXh0PXZpc3Rh

Therefore, if this is not accurate, I'd suggest to contact Punch TA ASAP, so they can provide a solution

yes all of these things worked before. i thought maybe it was because the pc was brand new and perhaps it may take time for it to get used to the program or something like that, but its been a few days and its not getting any better. i've tried to contact Punch before through the support(ask questions tab) and havent gotten a response to my questions yet. i'll try the link you sent, thanks a bunch patricia

Charles,

Just an additional word regarding video cards

I am an ATI card user since 2003. I have 2 cards, one in my main computer and other in my laptop
I have a third computer with the same configuration of the main, but with Nvidia VC

The difference between ATI and Nvidia is incredible. Not only Punch runs with full accelerations, but the ATI rendering results are amazing

However, in my experience, is not only the ATI VC, the ATI Catalyst drive also makes the difference. The fact is that, the VC of my laptop is not Catalyst enable (as most of the ATI VC for laptops), and I feel differences (for some complicated rendering in my laptop I must go down with the accelerations, for example)
I didn't see these issues with my main VC--> ATI Radeon Catalyst enable

Therefore, I'd suggest that you check this feature if you are going to buy an ATI card

Hello all, I just setup a new Vista Home Premium E521 from Dell but MLP 10 won't install. The drive spins the disk up and I wait, and wait.. and wait...but nothing ever happens. Install worked fine on XP Pro. Any ideas? Chip

Hi Chip,

Probably is not a Vista problem but an Antivirus program issue (the AV trying to scan the CD)

Two resources--->
1 - open your AV and deactivate the automatic CD scanner
2 - Go for a coffee and wait until the AV scans the CD :-D

Hi David Hofstede,

I am not a WVista user (I am a volunteer here) so, as Punch claims that their products are WVista compatible, you should contact them ASAP. See the Contact Us page in the Punch main site
