You can import the picture of your house using the Photoview tool, however, notice that you will get just an image on a board (as you correctly stated in your post) and not the whole house
After you import the picture, you can try different options, as you can see in these images. I started with a picture inserted in the Punch work space and I added (drag and drop) the Punch objects / plants--> trellis, flowers, landscape elements, etc in front of the picture

As stated, the imported picture is just a 2d board and you can't modify it after you imported it
To modify the picture (before you import it), you can use the Photo Editor Power Tool (if you've this tool) or you can use any other image program (Photoshop, PSP, etc)
