Hi Joe Pates,

The decision depends of your goals. If you are using the program just for one house, perhaps you should stick with Plat V12 --> it is not too different with the program you are using (Plat V10) so you'll learn how to use it very fast
Home and Landscape Design Pro is a different program so you'll have a learning curve, but it has more tools, so, if you are going to use this for professional purposes, I'd suggest this upgrade
